Chillin' with the Hardings

my happy hubby

Bubb-a-loons!

you know that gooey, plasticky (not a word, I know), rubbery stuff that's a cross between, well, obviously a bubble and a balloon? fun times!
I told Roz she could have a toy from the store because she shared with Oscar when he was upset. She is a very giving person.
Her toy was fun for the whole fam!

we've been baking lots of muffins because the kids can't get enough of em

Roz putting cinnamon streusel batter into the muffin pan

waiting patiently for his muffin

our beloved sweet potato burritos

this time we added peppers, onions, a russet and garlic
and wow!
we definitely improved on the original

Mr. Mo apparently had a little too much to drink!

Macaroni Art

Craft Project this week

Since Ben cut his face open on Sunday Cat didn't want him going to school and popping it open on the playground.
So, they came over and did macaroni art with us!

The artist's pulling from deep within to create their masterpieces!

puppy or horse?

Oscar's such a funny guy!
He let Roz strap Candycane to his back and carried her around like his rider.

But he was a bit confused cause he was also panting like a puppy.
Except he wags his tongue instead of his tail.
Back and forth.

One of the great things about being a kid:
You CAN be a puppy-horse if you want to!

Happy Heart Day!

We had an awesome Valentine's Day.
The best one yet!

Jared and I saw The Mother Hips on friday.

this is some pedal apparatus the bass player used
similar to the pedals on an organ

We took the kids to Pirate Island on saturday night.
They love that place!

We had a chill Sunday.
My kids are currently obsessed with MJ's movie.
Mosey's got the dance moves down and Roz is singing to "Billy Jean" and "Human Nature".

Jared made his chicken noodle soup for dinner.
Took some to my dear mother who is sick with bronchitis.
Hope the soup made you feel better, Mama!

decorating my oh so delicious soft sugar cookies

Roz made Valentine boxes for her and her bros for the kiddie Valentine party @ my cousin's

LET US ALL OPEN OUR HEARTS AND SPREAD MORE LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

PEACE,
LEX

flowers, snow and a train show

Jan. 18 is the date of me and Jared's 1st date - 13 years ago!
these are the flowers he bought me

taken the day after
they were kind of droopy by then

next to the flowers is a note I framed that Jared wrote me last year
it says, "A couple tulips to get your spring along its way"

-portraits of some sick kids-

Oscar and his chappy lip

his upper lip always gets chappy from his binky when he's sick
so, with this wave of germs we got rid of his binky
and it actually hasn't been that bad

it was time!

Roz is actually feeling quite a bit better
I told her to look sick
she doesn't look so bad

the red, chappy, boogery nose
a tell-tale sign of a sick kid!

the most beautiful snow storm!
the snow flakes were GINORMOUS!

rockin out on sister's guitar

Oscar is our little copy-cat echo

-the train show @ Thanksgiving Point-
which actually wasn't that awesome

but, it was $5 each for Jared and me
and the kids were free
so...

the lego one was my favorite
this is a shot of the tunnel through skull mtn.

the monorail

the tiniest one

and that's what we've been up to lately

just waitin around till spring!
