so, this year seemed abnormally busy and jam packed with event after event. which may sound fun but is also very stressful! I think parties should be held AFTER Christmas. after everything has calmed down and we can really enjoy each other.
there were also 2 parties that we attended which I don't have pictures of. if that gives you any idea how crazy these last 2 weeks have been!
Here goes:
this is the star Jared made for our tree 5 or 6 years ago. I love it! He fixes it up every year to make sure it doesn't fall apart. It is made from solder, tinfoil and paper.

Mom's dance party featuring Ray Smith along with 8 other fine musicians. The guy on keys played with Jared @ Velour.
opening presents before the band started. I love the look on Roz' face. this was THE one thing she mostly wanted for Christmas.
Mo watched from the loft at first. It was pretty loud!

Mona, Roz' cabbage patch kid. Oh, how I love the way they smell! Takes me back to when I was a kid. Back when they had yarn hair.
We got the kids a drum kit. Its a real one! Jared was so excited for it. We can just replace the drum heads and pedals for the kick and hi-hat and it will last us forever. Its small scale, but Jared can still play it. Its kind of a gift for us too.

I've always wanted a magic eight ball, dorky I know. but how else am I going to make those important life decisions! We used to watch Northern Exposure all the time. In fact, its how we came up with Roz' name In the opening credits there is a painted brick wall that says "Roslyn's Cafe".
DVD's, we watched every single one on Christmas day
CD that Brooke and Steve gave us. Really good kids album! Such positive vibes.
Pupcake got a new BFF. This is Candycane!
I got Jared some vinyl, a hat that actually fits (jared has an enormous head, I know it doesn't look like it, but finding hats for him is nearly impossible. so if I find one, I HAVE to buy it!), and some pot, I mean A pot ;) for cooking us up some mean chicken noodle soup. The one we had was too small.
